Today I am hopping along with the Pinkfresh design team and friends to celebrate the June release. You should have come here from the lovely Emily Mydlowski, my in life real friend!! I am the last stop on the hop, so if this is your first stop, hop on to Pinkfresh from here. You can find the entire lineup there.
My first card is done with Gold Foil on white card stock. On top of this I have used some hot foiled Folk Floral Stem images, also done with Gold Foil using the Hot Foil Plate, coloured in with the coordinating layering stencils and cut out with the coordinating diecut.
It’s a really lovely set and I like the fact that you can use one image and still pretty much cover an A2 sized card.
I used two Hot Foil Folk Floral Stems and these are trimmed a little and entwined into a wreath. I finished off the card with a hot foiled sentiment from the Modern Script set. Naturally I had to add some bling and the new Clear Iridescent Pearls were just the thing!
For my second card I used the coordinating Geo Arch layering stencils. In rainbow colours because why not, right?
On this background I used the Blanket Stitched Rectangle dies to add some fun texture, and the sentiment is done with the negative bits from Brushed Sentiments hot foil plates. It looks equally fabulous to do them regularly, and with the leftovers, using the Solid Hot Foil Plate!
I used A LOT of crystals on this card. Even for my own standards, this is a lot, but I like it!
There are also three new cover plates, that all create an embossed pattern, which is such a fab way to add interest to a plain background. From left to right, we have Dotted Scallops, Floral Backdrop and Ornate Medallions
I love that it gives a cross stitched look and to keep with that look, I added a Stitched Scallop Frame diecut to it to mimic the embroidery hoop.
Sentiment wise I kept it simple again, with a gold hot foiled ‘you are the best’ from the Fancy Script set.
Ok so that’s it from me for today. Enjoy the rest of the hop and your day! Thanks for stopping by, lots of love and happy crafting from Erica
